Workin' at the car wash!!

Today we washed the car. Hunter had a blast and ended up giving himself a bath, soap and all. He loved it and the car is clean. Sorry about the video being turned sideways. I didn't realise it wouldn't turn. So if you don't mind, just turn your head to watch.

Playing like kids!

I had found an indoor playground that I wanted to try, but since Erik had part of the day off, we headed to Fairfield for the afternoon to play. The playground is big enough that Erik and I could go in too! We had a blast and going through all the tunnels and down the slides. I must admit, I wish I was a kid again. My knees and wrists didn't handle it like they used to, but it was so much fun. It was a great way to find the kid inside me.

Jelly Belly

Today Hunter and I went to Jelly Belly. We had a blast and of course Hunter loved the candy. I only took one picture, because pictures aren't allowed in the factory. I did sneek one of Hunter in the elevator!

Apples, Apples, and more Apples

In our backyard we have an apple tree. Today we went out back and picked a few. Hunter loved eating them.

Our leaking pipes

We noticed the first week we were here that we had a leak somewhere. They sent out a plumber to look at it. He couldn't tell anything more than we already knew. So he cut a "small" hole in our bathroom ceiling. As you can see, it was anything but small. Then they had to cut a hole in our bedroom. And you can see the HUGE mess. These guys were great. They cleaned up and they didn't leave a mess. I wish I could say the same for the guy that patched the ceiling. Our bathroom was so gross when he left. It took me over an hour to clean it. We're still waiting for a painter, but at least it's fixed.

Bows

This is what I've been doing while Hunter has been taking naps or at night while watching my show. Let me know if you know of anyone who would like to buy any.

Labor Day Relaxing

Labor day was spent with Erik's uncle and aunt, Phil and Cindy. We went to Schoolhouse Beach and had a ball. It was a beach completely covered in pebbles. They were tiny smooth rocks. Hunter loved to shovel the rocks into the buckets. Then he dumped them out and made a huge pile. The water was WAY too cold to get in, but Erik and I were brave enough to dip our toes in.

This is a shot of the pebbles on the beach.

Hunter's little toes.

Here are Phil and Cindy.
Hunter wanted to play in his tent, to get away from the flies. They were everywhere, but at least they didn't bite.

You know it's been a good day when Hunter falls asleep on the ride home.
