Merry Christmas!!

Snow much fun!

Hunter had a BLAST playing in the snow while we were in Utah!

First he played with Pa while he shoveled the driveway.

Granted, Hunter was having more fun throwing snowballs than shoveling.Then Dad took him out to play in the backyard.

It was freezing cold and after dark, but that didn't stop them.
Hunter loved making snow angels.

They tried to build a snowman, but the snow was too powdery.

5 Months!!!

Can you believe it?

There are only 5 more months until my brother gets home.

My dad made this cut out of my brother for a family picture and Hunter loved it!

I think I'm not the only one who's excited about it!!

Today Erik had his white coat/pinning ceremony today.

I remember when we first started last year, I honestly thought this day would never come, but

IT CAME!!!

None of our family was able to come, but a good friend from the ward was able to join us in supporting Erik.

Now on to clinicals.

I don't think Erik would have made it through this year and a half without him.

This year our family got a gingerbread house from our secret santa.

Today we atemped to put it together.

BUT, Everytime I would put a candy on, it would be gone a second later.

At least he only licked the frosting off.

This was the best our gingerbread house looked!!

Finally DONE!!!

Well, Here he is!! He's just finished a very brutal finals week and he's DONE with his classwork!

Tired, no-sleep, ready for a break.

Santa Baby

This year Hunter was AMAZING and we had to take him to see Santa so he could see for himself.

Hunter was so cute. Santa was sweet to both the kids, even when Mckinley was pulling on his real beard. I felt bad for the poor guy!

A Gratitude Attitude

I have been thinking about starting a gratitude blog for quite some time. Last night I actually did. I'm hoping I can acutally stop looking for all the bad in my life and focus on the

POSITIVE!!

Christmas Time is Here!!

The lights in the windows are up.

Our tree is up, lit, and decorated.

Our stockings are hung by the chimney.

And now our kids are nustled snug in their new MATCHING jammies!

Hunter had his birthday party almost 3 weeks ago, but time has gotten away from me.

He wanted an UP birthday party.

There was NOTHING UP related out yet. (of course)

So this is what I came up with.

Erik was a champ and spent 2 nights blowing up balloons,

but before you feel too bad please note that he did have a pump.

What do you get when you add 7 toddlers to the balloons below?

Total anarchy!!

I made cupcakes for his cake and mistakenly put blue frosting on the tops.

Happy Birthday Hunter!!

Here is our

3 Year old!!

I can't believe he's already 3!

It seems like yesterday he looked like this!




When he woke up this morning and all he wanted was to eat frozen waffles

and to open his presents.





Mckinley loved sitting and watching him rip through all the wrapping paper.






(and yes, she is sitting by herself. Not all the time, but with a boppy she does.)

Happy Halloween Everyone!

This Halloween was a great one for us.

We started out our day at the mall to Trick or Treat our way through.

Mckinley slept through most of it.

Hunter and his friend London had a blast running from store to store yelling

"Trick or Treat"

We had a Peter Pan theme for our family this year.

Captain Hook, Wendy, Tinkerbell, and of course Peter Pan.

We won the most creative award at the ward party.

(however our prize was stolen!)

For those of you who know our neighbor Bill . . .

Four years, Oops!!

As I was sitting here in the quiet house, reading e-mails, face booking, I looked at the date and realized that today is our 4 year anniversary.

I feel kinda bad because it's now 4:15 p.m. and to be honest I didn't even think about it.

Don't get me wrong. Being married to this guy

has been AMAZING.

I think this year, with the major lack of funds, the day has been pushed to the back of our minds. I can't believe how far we've come in the last 4 years. We've gone from this. . .

to this. . . .

to this . . .

which became this . . .

to this . . .

then this . . .

Then this happened . . .

and our family became this.

This is what we've become today.

I cannot wait to spend eternity with my amazing husband and see what else is in store for us.
