Rain, Rain . . . Come again TODAY!!!
Today Hunter and Erik decided to have some fun while they were supposed to be watering the flowers. I found this when I checked on them. You can see Hunter was enjoying getting sprayed by the hose. At least this happened after church.

Echooo!
Yesterday we went to Echo with my family. Erik wake boarded. Hunter and I rode in the tube. Hunter loved dipping his toes in the lake too.

Hunter got to drive Grandpa's boat, a privilege that I have yet to receive.

We layed Hunter down and he wouldn't fall asleep until . . .
I held him.
What a wonderful day!! We had so much fun. Thanks so much Mom and Dad!!!!!!

Little Pioneer Children, throwing snaps for fun!
Pioneer day was a fun day this year! Erik had to work, but Hunter and I played hard. We started off the morning at my grandma's ward for breakfast and then went to my mom's to go swimming. I can't believe how good Hunter is in the water. If you put on his water wings, he just floats and kicks where ever he wants to go. Then later we went to my grandma's for sloppy Joe's and fireworks. Hunter got to participate in the fireworks this year. He loved throwing snaps, but the snaps we bought were definitely cheap. Only half of them would pop when thrown. Then we sat back and enjoyed the show!

Good Luck Elder Maxfield!!!
Today my brother was transfered from the MTC in Provo to Paris. We went to my grandpa's building that backs I-15 and put signs up and waved to every bus and large van that went by. We knew what time he'd be leaving the MTC, but didn't know anything more than that. We had a blast, although it was VERY hot and uncomfortable. (I made the mistake of wearing some really high heels that I don't wear very often.) Hunter didn't want to do anything more than to play with the pipes.

The good news is when he called us from the airport he had seen us! It was really fun to talk to him. He sounded great!

Da da da da da da da da BATMAN!!!!
So last night at 2:45 I flipped on the all the lights in our room. Erik sat straight up and asked what was going on. I told him he needed to get dressed and we needed to leave. He got up and got ready and I blindfolded him. He had no clue what was going on. I drove around in circles until he was disoriented and then drove him to our final destination of Jordan Commons. I took the blind fold off and he still didn't know what was going on. I took him inside and had to tell him we were going to see Batman. He was thrilled. The movie was amazing and neither of us even got tired.
"Let's put a smile on that face" Erik!!

Heath Ledger did phenomenal job as the Joker. I think it is safe to say that we have a new favorite movie!!!

The Marina
The last night we were in California, there was an amazing sunset. These pictures don't do it justice. In the distance in this first picture you can see the bridge that Erik is going to cross every day to get to school.

I look pretty gross, but in my defense we woke up late and I didn't have time to put on make up, and then it was really muggy and hot, but somehow Erik looks amazing as always!

Our new house!!!
So over the weekend we went to look for an apartment. Let's just say the apartments in California aren't exactally what they are here! You pay A TON, and you get very little. All the apartments we liked, we couldn't afford, and all the apartments we could afford, were very ghetto. I got really frustrated! I didn't know how I was going to make it! Then, we found this cute little house for rent 10 mins away from the university (which is about as close as we can get!). It's nothing fancy, but I think I can live comfortably for the next few years.

4th of July
For the 4th, we started the day early at the parade. We watched the whole thing, and of course Kylie was at the end of it all. I couldn't believe how long it was. Hunter enjoyed most of it, but then got bored toward the end. He only wanted to wear his pajamas, of course not the outfit that I had bought for him! Oh well.

Swimming Lessons
We started swimming lessons last week. It has been so much fun watching Hunter get better and better in the water. When we started he wouldn't lay back in the water, now he loves to. He can climb in and out of the pool, and he knows that he has to kick and move his arms at the same time. They give him some toys to throw and he has to "swim" to get them. This is him throwing the toy.
Swimming to get the toy.

Mom and Hunter.

So tired. This is how it has been after every lesson.
