Christmas 2010

Here are the kids in there Christmas Jammies on Christmas Eve.

The next morning started really early! We were up at 6:30 so we could get to every stop on our list. It was a LONG day!

Hunter asked Santa for some skis . He was so excited to see them that he hugged them!

Mckinley wasn't sure what she wanted, but Santa spoiled her and brought a lot of toys!

Daddy got Hunter a racquetball racket. . .

and Mckinley a baby princess.

I made the kids blankets, but obviously they were not the favorite gifts.

(but they use them daily now!)

Hunter was so proud of his note that he wrote to Santa this year.

(all geared up)

We visited 5 houses on Christmas Day and were spoiled rotten by our families.

THANK YOU, THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!

We don't know what we'd do without you guys!
Here are the Smith cousins in their PJ's.
Next year there will be at least 2 more added to the group.
We're so excited!

Whoville

For our ward Christmas party we had a whoville theme. The activities committee dressed up as best as we could. This is what our family came up with.

Merry Christmas.

Temple Square

This year we took Hunter on a "trip" to Temple Square to look at the lights.
Mckinley got a babysitter to herself and was completely thrilled about it.

Hunter was under the weather and fell asleep as we were eating dinner, but he was a trooper and walked around looking at all the lights.
(the next day the vomiting and fever started)

It was a nice evening and not too cold. (I'm just glad I was able to squeeze my growing belly into my winter coat!)

4 Years Old!!

Happy Birthday, my not so little boy.
You are 43.5 inches tall, and 46 pounds.
Average for a 5.5 year old.
My best friend.
My biggest helper.
I'd be lost without you!
I love you!!

Happy Halloween!!

Happy Halloween Everyone!!
We had a grand time at our house celebrating!
Mckinley went as this super cute Dragon.

Hunter was Hiccup from How to Train your Dragon.
He LOVED his costume!

Hiccup and his dragon.

All dressed up and ready to go!

Mckinely caught on VERY quickly!! Any time someone put the basket of candy in front of her she would grab a candy and put it into her pumpkin, and repeat until the person at the door took the basket away. She ended up with more candy than Hunter! We had a great time! Can't wait for next year.

Bring on the Holiday season!!

OCTOBER (all in one)

October has been a whirlwind of a month.
We started the months festivities with a scary gingerbread house.
Hunter designed it all by himself. (can you tell?)

Then of course he devoured it.
Most of it. Himself.

Then I had my 20 week ultrasound.
Still haven't heard back, so I'm assuming no news is good news.
Hunter enjoyed seeing his new brother/sister, for all of 3 minutes and then he was begging for the iPod. Go figure.

He had his second field trip. We went to the pumpkin patch.
They had a story teller there, and ALL the kids loved that!!
Hunter's favorite part was the pirate ship of course.

Such a model. He has to pose for every shot when he knows there's a camera around.

Love my girl with her 7 front teeth. I hope that other one comes in soon.
But isn't she gorgeous?!?!

Then we had a whirlwind trip to California while Erik took his tests.
(Which he ROCKED, by the way!)
We stopped at the salt flats to play for a few minutes. Something I've never managed to do living all my life in Utah.
Hunter wanted to have a salt ball fight.
I'm just glad the salt was too dry to do anything with.
Hunter going for a new 3 year old land speed record.
Daddy and his princess.
Oh yeah. And proof I was there. Starting to get a bump.

Unfortunately I didn't take my camera with us when we saw our friends. I was hoping to get a shot of all the kids playing together, but pregnancy brain and I do not do well together.

Swimming Party

Erik's parents had us down for a swimming party the day after Michelle got married.
Hunter ALWAYS loves to be in the pool and his new favorite trick is spitting water at anyone who walks by.

Mckinley had fun with her Daddy.

Hunter ( just typed by himself) hates to jump in, but I love this kind of picture.

I love this girl!

Moving Day

I know that this happened over two months ago, but we had a long hard move.
Thankfully my family was able to come out and help us.
Hunter was easily entertained, and mostly stayed out of the way.

And then there was this Gem. She had to be the
CENTER
of everything. In and out of the boxes. Pulling things out of boxes.
Not a whole lot got done around her.

But at least she's cute!

First Day of School!!

Hunter started pre-school today.
He was eager and excited to go.

SO excited, that he would hardly hold still for a picture.

Of course Little Miss had to get in on the "cheese" action.

Okay, fine, I'll admit it. I cried. But I blame the pregnancy hormones!!
He's going to do so well.

If it's not one thing, it's another.

I realize that it's been over a month with still no update. It has been one problem after another. I still don't have a working external hard-drive. It may be at least another week before I do. I'm sorry to all those waiting for an update. I really want to blog. It's driving me crazy seeing the same post. ALL the time. UG. I promise I'll post the SECOND I can.

P.S. Hunter starts Pre-school tomorrow. YIKES!! Am I really that old already?

Waiting for an update?

I wish I had some pictures to update with, but my camera won't connect to my computer. I think that it could be my own fault as my computer's memory is FULL. I am looking for an external hard drive so that I can get an update out to you soon.

Love

Erik,
I love you more today than I did the day we were married.

I didn't think that was possible.
Thank you for being patient with me when I'm a hormonal mess.
I love you!!
