Hunter's words

For the longest time I've been wanting to make a list of all the words Hunter can say. I feer now that I've waited so long I won't be able to remember all the words he can say. Here's my best shot at it. Mom, Buddy, (also know as Dad, but it's mostly buddy.) Grandma (amma), Grandpa (ampa), Garrett, Kylie, Matt,(all of the above are family). Jesus. Lightning, Mater, Sally, Doc, Sherriff, Ramone, Flo, King, Chick, Car, bus (all from the movie Cars, He can even recognize them all!). Buzz, Woody (from Toy Story) "Think, think, think", Barney, bee, rat, ants, bear, monkey, elephant (ele), fish, frog, Callie (my mom's cat), house, go, more, all (all done), food, milk, juice, water, cheese, apple, sauce, shoes, hair, eye, teeth, ear, paci, blanket (blanky), bed, tired, nap, pillow, bath, lotion (boosh), up, down, out, flip, walk, ball, balloon, book, bubble, color, help, hi, bye. Most importantly I love you!
He knows the sounds of a cow, dog, cat, LION, tiger, elephant, rooster (sometimes), duck (sometimes), bear, monkey, snake, shark.

Stitches

So, Sunday night we went to Amanda and Jeremy's for dinner. Hunter decided that he was done with dinner, and we put him down. Within 5 minutes he fell and wacked his nose on a chair. His cut didn't bleed too much, but we saw how deep it was and knew instantly that he'd need stitches. We left and were going to go to Alta View, but found out there was an hour wait just to get a room. We went to Primary Children's instead. We got right back to a room, but due to some other more significant trauma's we waited for a few hours to be seen.

We just watched Bee Movie and Toy Story while we were waiting.

This is Hunter on his sedation meds. He's a little loopy.

After he had been stitched up, the tech brought in a bear, and he still is walking around with it. We only ended up with 4 stitches.

We finally got to go home at 11:30 pm. He was so tired.

Dr. Hunter and Daddy

Erik and I bought these scrubs before Hunter was born. They just finally started to fit. Hunter loves his stethescope. He will put it into his ears and listen to everything from Mommy to the couch. When he listens he breathes for you! It's got to be the cutest thing I've ever seen!!

What a Gullible World!!

When I first picked out my April fools joke, I was unaware of how many people would actually fall for it. I had actually only intended it to be for my family, but I didn't realize how many people actually read my blog. I can't count the phone calls I got yesterday, some mad, some happy. And I just laugh. No I am not pregnant! But I did get a lot of enjoyment out of people's reactions! Thanks for playing along.

IT'S A GIRL!!!!!

We have been waiting to tell everyone, but we're having a girl due Sept. 9th! We couldn't be happier. I hit my 17 week mark today, and have been feeling really good, but very tired. I can barely keep up with Hunter! Here she is.

Camping

Hunter and I went camping with my dad's side of the family. We had a blast sitting in the dust and dirt. He loved playing with the older kids. He just wants to be a big kid. He loved to ride the 4 wheelers.

He loved hiking in the backpack. There were several times he tried to climb out of it, but for the most part he just enjoyed the ride. He loved playing with my hair. He pulled on it most the time.

Devin loved the fires that Jesse built. (Jesse is in the red shirt in this pic) He decided that his toes would warm up faster if he took his shoes and socks off, and then proped his feet on an empty capri sun box.

He hitched a ride with Grandpa, for part of the way up the narrows.

For part of the narrows, Hunter had to hike by himself. He was a champ and did everything he had to do. Then we had to turn around because of a poopy diaper, and I forgot to bring an extra diaper with us.

He loves his grandpa!

Hunter loved climbing all over the "goblins" at Goblin Valley.

He loved playing in the dirt! He got so dirty, just look at his pants.

Grandpa caught a cat nap on this "Goblin".

Hunter and Kylie. He learned how to say her name this trip. Then he wouldn't stop saying her name. The whole way home he just kept yelling "Kylie. Kylie. Kylie."

Hunter and Andrew played this tether ball type game that the big kids had been playing. They just wanted to be part of the big kid group.

Easter Egg Hunt

Sorry I took so long to post this! Hunter enjoyed his egg hunt this year. I can't believe how quickly he caught on to gathering the eggs. He ran all around Great-Grandma's yard looking for eggs. He just laughed the whole time. I couldn't believe some of the eggs he found. Most of them were hidden just for him in easy to find places, but others like the one in the tree, I never thought he'd find.
