Easter Week in Utah

So for Easter I decided that I was going to take the kids to Utah and enjoy our 

"Spring Break"

This mountain looked like some alien space ship out on the salt flats.

Donna came with me and was staying with her nephew. She had unloaded her things out of the car while we were waiting for them to get there. Apparently some girls thought that the suitcase and pillow were hilarious and started taking pictures. So we thought we'd give them a better picture.

The kids were spoiled and they got two egg hunts this year.

And somehow, I got a whole one picture.

Papa Cardon loves to give his great grand-kids rides on his walker.

Great Pa Hoyt loves to read.  Even if it is Pinkalicious.

But after seeing THIS website, I was a little worried, because ...

But I have to say, I think we did alright. 

(Although Kylie did most of the work.)

Madelynn turns 2!

Madelynn had a birthday. 

She was so excited, and couldn't wait to open her presents.

I had to throw this one in, just for Mckinley in the background.

This is her first time wearing pigtails. 

When I put her hair up she said, "I look like a girl!!"

We took a couple friends to a place nearby that has all sorts of tubes to climb in and blow up jumpers.

She had a blast!

She HAD to have this cake.

BUT, this was about all she wanted to do.

 She didn't eat a single bite.

Moving!

We bought our first house!!

We couldn't be happier. 

Yes, if it looks like the house we were renting, you're partially right.

It's the same floor plan, just reversed.

We got an amazing deal since we bought a short sale.

Considering, The house was in great shape.

But, there were somethings that needed to be fixed, and my dad was gracious enough to be our handyman for the week.

I swear we went to Home Depot at least twice a day.

The kids had a lot of fun.

Pa taught them how to shoot a bow and arrow. 

 We put together a bunch of new things.

Our new fridge wouldn't fit inside my parents trailer, so we walked the thing down the street to the new place.

Then it wouldn't fit inside our door, so my dad had to take the doors off.

 Madelynn wouldn't leave him alone. She just wanted to help.

This trailer was entirely full of toys. If anyone questions if my kids are spoiled, this should answer you.

Here is the play room set up. Mostly. But not decorated. I still have to figure out what I want to do on the walls.
