Disneyland

The first day I was on my own with all three for the first half of the day.

This was before we left the hotel.

Turns out that it wasn't too bad. My family got in earlier than I had expected, and we had a great time!

Madelynn had to sleep in a crib while we were there. She called it her cage. 

And the poor girl was too tall, and most mornings her toes were hanging out

Hunter got sick and the kid was a trooper. He still went everyday. Walked everywhere. 

and finally one day, he just couldn't take it any longer. 

He crashed as I was ordering dinner. He slept like this for more than an hour.

This is my new favorite family photo.

Hunter rode the roller coaster for the first time.

I don't think he liked it much.

Mckinley was able to go on Soarin' over California for the first time.

and on May the Fourth, she went on Star Tours for the first time.

( We took this photo 4 or 5 times and she closed her eyes every. single. time.)

It was a great trip. I can't wait to go back!

Easter Week in Utah

So for Easter I decided that I was going to take the kids to Utah and enjoy our 

"Spring Break"

This mountain looked like some alien space ship out on the salt flats.

Donna came with me and was staying with her nephew. She had unloaded her things out of the car while we were waiting for them to get there. Apparently some girls thought that the suitcase and pillow were hilarious and started taking pictures. So we thought we'd give them a better picture.

The kids were spoiled and they got two egg hunts this year.

But after seeing THIS website, I was a little worried, because ...

But I have to say, I think we did alright. 

(Although Kylie did most of the work.)

Madelynn turns 2!

Madelynn had a birthday. 

She was so excited, and couldn't wait to open her presents.

I had to throw this one in, just for Mckinley in the background.

This is her first time wearing pigtails. 

When I put her hair up she said, "I look like a girl!!"

We took a couple friends to a place nearby that has all sorts of tubes to climb in and blow up jumpers.

She had a blast!

She HAD to have this cake.

BUT, this was about all she wanted to do.

 She didn't eat a single bite.
