Mckinley's Birthday

This year for Mckinley's Birthday she wanted to have an Ariel party in Grandma's pool.

So that's what we did.
We invited all our family and had a big party.

She definitely let you know if she liked your present or not.
She told my aunt that she didn't like a stuffed monkey that my aunt had given her.
She promptly gave it to Madelynn.

Two days later, she wanted it back.
We have a diva!

She didn't like everyone singing to her, and she covered her ears.

Then, right as she was about to blow our her candles, her cousin, Sawyer, ran up and blew them all out.

With some quick thinking on my dad's part, the candles were lit again and I don't think she realized that anything had happened, except a bunch of adults laughing.

July Update

July was a great month. We were lucky enough to spend the entire month is Utah.

It started out great.
The kids got Creature Power Suits from my mom.
Did I mention she MADE these??
She's pretty amazing!
They still play with them almost daily.

Lots of time was spent on the boat at Bear Lake.

We played Catan almost every night.

Almost all the cousins on my mom's side.

I discovered that kids can sit in almost any position and watch t.v.

This wonderful creature was found in our backyard.
We have since found 2 more.
(I really, really hope that's all of them!)

I was able to take a quick trip to Vegas with my family for Kylie's Birthday.
Our room was the one in the box.
A.M.A.Z.I.N.G!

Chris Angel was pretty amazing! Pretty freaky though.

Our awesome view!

Strawberry Lemonade Cake that I made from a recipe from Pinterest.
The frosting is divine!

Mckinley only likes the marshmallows. Our little squirrel.

Taking the tram to the top of Snowbird.

We watched Pa race out at the track. He came in 3rd that day. But was only .025 (if I remember right) seconds away from first.

June Update

WOW!! I can't believe that summer is already over and I haven't really even started blogging about it.

So clear back in June, Hunter graduated Kindergarten.

This is Mrs. Rhonda, she helped out in Hunter's class and got to help the kids graduate, since his teacher couldn't be there on this day.

This is the most amazing thing I have ever bought.
It's a watermelon slicer. Works just like an apple slicer, but with melons!!

Erik had his birthday and we celebrated by going to dinner, and everyone got specialty drinks.

I also got curtains made! I am so excited with how they turned out.
I LOVE my living room!

We got our free bowling pass from AMC. I wish we would have used them more.

We went opening day to see Monster's University.
(we waited in line for over an hour)

We also got a pass to the Sacramento Zoo.
Let me know if you want to go! We got the monster pass, so we can get our friends in too!

My sister came to visit and we stood in line for flip flops. I would have never guessed that we would have to wait for them. Who knew!
