Pneumonia
So for the past 3 weeks Hunter has been fighting a nasty cough. I thought it was just a cold and would go away. Then he started complaining about his tummy hurting. We went to see his pediatritican and low and behold he has walking pneumonia. This same disease would put an old man in the hospital; however, in kids it's just a bad cough. I would have never guessed that my sweet little boy was sick. He has been running around acting like nothing is wrong. He has been an angel; a little more cuddly than usual, but nothing that stood out. I wish I would have caught this earlier. I think we may have infected a few of our friends. I'm so sorry if we have! Luckily it's easliy cured. He was so cute during his nap, but when I went in to get a picture, he had covered his face.

Six Flags
Yesterday was a really nice day and the Six Flags near us is opened for the season. We decided to make the most of our season passes and spend part of the day there. Hunter could have lived in Thomasland. We rode that train over and over, which was a good thing, because it's one of the only rides I can go on.
We saw the tiger show, and it wasn't as grand as it was last time I saw it. One of the tigers wasn't doing what he was asked so instead of the show they brought out the two newest editions to the park. One of these two is 5 months and the other is 6 months old. With these two tigers, it brings the park's grand total to 11 tigers. They were so fun to watch!

My Dear Hunter
This post is just to say how grateful I am for Hunter.
My emotions are a constant roller coaster right now. I can be having the best day, and in the matter of a few minutes it goes to the worst day possible. Today was one of those days when it was bad and just got worse. I tried everything to make the day better, but I just couldn't. I finally broke down but Hunter was right there at my side telling me, "Be happy Mommy!" He kept giving me hugs and wouldn't let me be alone. He has become an unlikely friend, but the best! I really am very lucky to have such a wonderful little boy.

Bath and Tattoos
For Valentine's day Hunter got some temporary tattoos. I had forgotten about them until He asked for me to put stickers on his hands. I found them and put them on. He loves having stickers on his hands and I thought that these tattoos would be perfect. He chose Rex and Buzz and he shows EVERYONE he meets. He is such a stud!Tower, but not the Eiffel.
Hunter and I found his Legos this week and decided to build a tower. He built, and I just held it so it didn't fall over. He had so much fun, and let's face it . . . I did too!

Happy Valentine's Day!
I decided to start a tradition this year. Without Erik or Hunter knowing I decorated our dining room with hearts and streamers and cooked them a pancake breakfast. Here he was calling and braging to his family about the pancakes.

This was the first time Erik was able to have pancakes, and as you can see from his plate, he loved them!
For our afternoon snack we made cupcakes that were Erik friendly. Hunter loved licking the bowl and sprinkles off his hand. We had a lot of fun making them!

Chucky's
Since we have been trying to get Hunter potty trained, it hasn't been going very well. It seems he has no desire, except when there is a reward envolved. So as a bribe we came up with the idea of going to his favorite place of Chuck E. Cheese's, if he went poop. It took almost 2 weeks of poopy diapers and heartbreak before he finally held up his end of the bargain, and we took him last night. He had a blast, and Erik and I even got in on the games.
