The Paci

These past few weeks have been interesting. We're trying to get Hunter to give up his paci. We've only been giving it to him during naps and bedtime. As you can see I think we're losing the battle.

Sea World

In the middle of the week we went to Sea World. We loved it, and these pictures should be pretty self explanatory.

Disneyland

Our first stop in Disneyland was of course the Buzz Blaster ride. Would you expect anything less?

He was so tired half way through the day and crashed in his stroller. I found this cute mural and had to get a picture of him with the Disney gang.

He loved the Toad's Wild Ride. I really think the only reason he did is because of the steering wheel.

The second day we were there Hunter was sleeping in the hotel with my mom, we decided to go see the Bug's Life show. Here we are with our "bug vision" goggles on.

If anyone is going to Disneyland anytime soon, I would highly reccommend the Disney/Pixar play parade. It was amazing! Hunter loved it and the characters were awesome. I would keep your camera close, cause there is water everywhere.

Hunter loved to play with daddy's light up drumsticks.

Hunter loves his grandpa. This picture should say it all.

I think his second favorite ride was the Carosel. Everytime we walked passed he wanted to go on it.

Kylie literally had to chase this Tigger down. He was skipping all over the town square, but he couldn't run too fast.

Hunter loved looking out the window at the Nemo ride. He bonked his head a few times on the window. I'm sure he would have rather been swimming with Nemo and Dori.

Our Cruise

The first day on the cruise, all we did was eat and sleep. Therefore, no pictures. The second day was Ensenada, or for us Bufadora. We got off the boat bright and early and went to Bufadora, which is famous for its blow hole. The tide wasn't cooperating with us so we really didn't see anything spectatular. This is my mom with Hunter as we're getting off the boat.

Hunter got to see this incredible view of the ocean. Don't worry his dad was holding on tight to the stroller!
We ate at this restaraunt with the most incredible view, but of course this picture won't even begin to do it justice. Just pretend with me.

The only thing we could get Hunter to do on the boat is watch a movie. He is so high energy, and to be on a boat, even though it was a fairly large one, it was hard to get him to be quiet and stop running. This is him watching Bees. He wanted his shirt off because he saw everyother guy walking around without one. He always has to be just like everyone else.

This was our only towel animal we ever got. Our housekeeper didn't feel the need to clean our room the second night or the third day. I thought it was cute, and managed to get a picutre of it right before Hunter turned around and ruined it.

On the boat they had air brushed tattoos. My sister, Erik, and I decided we wanted to get one, but right as we got there the machine broke down. Luckily at Bufadora there was a guy doing "Henna" tattoos. They were cheap so we decided to get one. This is Eriks. It didn't even last a week. I guess you get what you pay for in Mexico.

Erik's back was hurting so I started giving him a back rub, when Hunter decided he wanted to help too.

This is our assistant waiter. She was so good with Hunter. Everytime she would fill up our glasses, Hunter would hand her his sippy cup. She always played along and pretended to fill his cup.

Erik and his favorite dessert ever. I can never seem to get it right when I try here. It's only on the cruise that he is happy with it.

Hunter's words

For the longest time I've been wanting to make a list of all the words Hunter can say. I feer now that I've waited so long I won't be able to remember all the words he can say. Here's my best shot at it. Mom, Buddy, (also know as Dad, but it's mostly buddy.) Grandma (amma), Grandpa (ampa), Garrett, Kylie, Matt,(all of the above are family). Jesus. Lightning, Mater, Sally, Doc, Sherriff, Ramone, Flo, King, Chick, Car, bus (all from the movie Cars, He can even recognize them all!). Buzz, Woody (from Toy Story) "Think, think, think", Barney, bee, rat, ants, bear, monkey, elephant (ele), fish, frog, Callie (my mom's cat), house, go, more, all (all done), food, milk, juice, water, cheese, apple, sauce, shoes, hair, eye, teeth, ear, paci, blanket (blanky), bed, tired, nap, pillow, bath, lotion (boosh), up, down, out, flip, walk, ball, balloon, book, bubble, color, help, hi, bye. Most importantly I love you!
He knows the sounds of a cow, dog, cat, LION, tiger, elephant, rooster (sometimes), duck (sometimes), bear, monkey, snake, shark.

Stitches

So, Sunday night we went to Amanda and Jeremy's for dinner. Hunter decided that he was done with dinner, and we put him down. Within 5 minutes he fell and wacked his nose on a chair. His cut didn't bleed too much, but we saw how deep it was and knew instantly that he'd need stitches. We left and were going to go to Alta View, but found out there was an hour wait just to get a room. We went to Primary Children's instead. We got right back to a room, but due to some other more significant trauma's we waited for a few hours to be seen.

We just watched Bee Movie and Toy Story while we were waiting.

This is Hunter on his sedation meds. He's a little loopy.

After he had been stitched up, the tech brought in a bear, and he still is walking around with it. We only ended up with 4 stitches.

We finally got to go home at 11:30 pm. He was so tired.
