Discovery Kingdom

Yesterday Hunter and I went with our new friends Sheila and Diana to Discovery Kingdom. We had so much fun with them. I really think that Hunter is in love with Diana. Every chance he gets he holds her hands and gives her hugs. He's even kissed her on the cheek. She's cute! Together they make for A LOT of mischief. Here they are holding hands and all. Look at that face. It has to be love.

Sheila took this picture and I LOVE it. It's a great picture of the both of us.
Here we are at the whale show.
Hunter loved to play with this dolphin. The dolphin was nice enough to play with him for 10 minutes, in the sun.

I really want to thank Sheila for this GORGEOUS picture of Hunter.

These next pictures are the biggest adventure Hunter and I have ever been on!!

Are you ready?!?!?!

WE RODE AN ELEPHANT!!!!!!!!!!

This was the COOLEST thing I have ever done!! The elephants are really rough and almost scaly. The elephant we rode was 26 years old. The ride was a lot bumpier than I expected it to be. Hunter wasn't sure what to think at first, but then he caught on and was upset when the ride was over. It was a great day even though it was over 100 degrees. I just realised that I didn't get a picture of Sheila! Next time! Not even 5 minutes after we left this is what we found.

What a fun day!

Welcome to Touro!!

Tonight Hunter had his first college party. He loved the music, but it's a good thing he didn't know what words were being said. Being out of Utah really hit me tonight. The music was filthy and the girls were not dressed modestly. I saw and heard a lot more than I ever wanted to. Hunter was the life of the party and all the Asian girls were dying in laughter from watching him dance. He did his little booty dance and everyone was taking pictures. I met a few of the people from Erik's class and they were all very nice.

They had a blow up obstacle course that Hunter loved. He SCREAMED as I made him get off to go home.

If this picture says anything about the fun he was having, I wish I could have been in there with him.

This is just a general picture of the crowd.

This is Erik's picture. The guy with the beard is the campus Rabbi. Erik is so excited to have a Rabbi of his own. (Not quite sure why)

Higher Education

Today was Erik's first day of "Higher Education." He looked smashing in his outfit and Hunter had a hard time saying goodbye to his daddy.

After I took this next picture Hunter cried for 10 minutes because he wanted "Daddy."

After Erik left Hunter and I headed to Six Flags. He had so much fun. We got on a tidal wave type kiddie ride. This is his "Oh, goodness" face. He didn't like it too much.

I can't believe how close he got to this Elephant! It was so cool.

He got to drive a jeep for one of the rides. He picked out the tiger colored one.

Later that night Hunter decided to sleep in a tent we found when we were unpacking. He was only pretending here. This only lasted a couple more seconds, and then he was running around. He slept in his bed after all. (I don't know if you can see it, mom, but Hunter has his flashlight that you gave him. He loves it!)

P.S. Happy Birthday Tammy!!

Back in business

ERIK FOUND OUR CAMERA!!!!!!!!!! I had been looking for it for a while and could not find it anywhere. I was so frustrated, but He found it today. I'm so excited. I have my pictures from Berry Days and I'll post them so look back cause I'm going to post them as the 12th of August. We went to the park on Mare Island today. It was awesome. Hunter loved getting out and playing. He loved climbing on the ladders.

At first Hunter didn't want anything to do with the slides, but then he warmed right up and had a blast as you can see.

Hunter has discovered how much he loves cooking. Every night he has to stand on his step ladder and help me cook. Here he is helping me add pasta to our soup.

Our nightly ritual has become a walk along the marina. It's going to have to only be on nights where Erik is home and can take the hour to go. It's kinda scary to go by myself. So as long as Erik is by my side, I'll be okay.

Where oh where can my camera be??

So somewhere during our vacation and moving we lost our camera. I happened to find one, but I can't find the charger. So here I am without a camera. Family- will you keep an eye out for it? I really need it. Otherwise there will be no pictures to update with. I hope we can find it.

We're alive!!!

It has been a rollercoaster of a month so far! I can't believe most of the month has gone by already! We are now in our new little house and loving it. I can't believe how much stuff we have. I have had to go every box and throw away everything we don't need. It's been a long process and I will post pictures as soon as I get them!! I do have a couple so here are the ones I have. . . just the kitchen and the living room.

You must forgive the dishes. I had just done them. It really hasn't been all that bad not having a dishwasher. I thought it would be a lot worse than it is. I've done the dishes twice a day and it's been pretty easy. Hunter is adjusting well, and loves his webcam chats with Grandma and Kylie. He already has two new friends and with one of them he has been causing a lot of mischief. They can help eachother over the baby gates. They love playing together, and that's a good thing cause they are the only two in nursery. I feel lucky cause one of our neighbors across the street is a member of the church. I guess the next closest members are almost a mile away from us. It's been great here. I have to brag, the weather is AMAZING here. It's been in the high 90's in Utah and here it's been in the high 70's here. I love it!! I've been trying to have a good outlook because there isn't much I can do. I'm here and I have to make the choice to love it or hate it. I've been looking for the good and I definately think I'm finding it. Our neighbors are great! (Not as good as the Russ family has been!!!!) I'll have to post more of our August later, but Mr. Sandman is knocking on my door.

Rain, Rain . . . Come again TODAY!!!

Today Hunter and Erik decided to have some fun while they were supposed to be watering the flowers. I found this when I checked on them. You can see Hunter was enjoying getting sprayed by the hose. At least this happened after church.

You can see Erik was enjoying himself too!!
